Christopher Maley Admitted to American College of Trial Lawyers

July 6, 2023 – Burlington, VT – Christopher J. Maley, a highly respected trial attorney dedicated to personal injury and medical malpractice law, has been admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers

This honor places him among the top legal professionals in North America, and among the top 1 percent of trial lawyers in Vermont.

Attorney Maley’s induction ceremony was held during the College’s Spring Meeting in Key Biscayne, Florida, before an audience of 525 attendees.

Founded in 1950, the College represents the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Fellowship in this exclusive organization is by invitation only to only those trial lawyers who are regarded as the best in their state/province. Qualifications include high ethical and moral standards, excellent character, as well as being actively engaged in trial work as their principal activity for a minimum of 15 years.

Membership in the College is limited to one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province. The College maintains and seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice through education and public statements on independence of the judiciary, trial by jury, respect for the rule of law, access to justice, and fair and just representation of all parties to legal proceedings. The College is thus able to speak with a balanced voice on important issues affecting the legal profession and the administration of justice.

Attorney Maley along with his father, John Maley (admitted as a Fellow in 1999), established the Burlington, Vermont, law firm of Maley and Maley, PLLC in 2013, dedicated exclusively to representing individuals and families who have suffered personal injuries. With over 25 years of experience as a trial attorney Christopher is AV-rated by Martindale, has been selected for inclusion annually by The Best Lawyers in America® and New England Super Lawyers®, and is an active member of the Vermont Association for Justice and chair of its legislative committee. He is a member of the Vermont Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Associaiton and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
